7 Reasons Mordor’s War Makes A Ton Of Sense

Land

Land is always valuable — an empire can never have too much. We’re at 9 orcs/km², we conquer Rohan, kill the Rohirrim down to the last child, and suddenly it’s an 8.8 or even 8.5. That’s some percentage points more per capita, which is better.

Resources

Today, it might look like there’s a never-ending stream of molten minerals oozing out of Mount Doom we could fashion infinite Morgul knives out of, but better safe than sorry.

Speaking of safety — Middle Earth is orcophobic, and it’s either us or them

Sure, we might have 6,255 Mûmakil and 12,420 trolls, but we can never truly feel safe before the Age of Man is over. Hobbit propaganda has made it so hard to be a good servant of the Dark Lord these days that it’s honestly genocide.
